Hello everyone, good news today. IronBlogger is having it’s first contest ever and it starts today and will last until the end of October. So throughout the month this contest will remain in tact. I’m so excited and I hope all my readers are as well. There are plenty of prizes to be won and they are some really great prizes indeed.

Now that’s a wonder list of prizes, but how does one win? Well you can win these prizes by earning points. Winners will be selected at random. The more points you have, the better the chance you will be selected. Simple enough, well I hope so.
Here are they ways that you can earn points:
- Write up a post about this contest on your blog. The post has to include 300 words and not be too spamy. If you write a post about this contest and link back to it, you will be rewarded 50 points. This is by far the easiest and best way to get points in this contest. 50 points
- Put up my banner on your blog or website. You can gain 30 points for putting up my banner on your blog until the contest ends. All you have to do is contact me and tell me the url that the banner is on. Once I check and confirm it, you will be awarded 30 points. Banners have to be up for a total of 2 weeks and until the end of the contest. I will be checking on the last day to confirm this as well so please play fair. - Subscribe to my RSS Feed. Once you subscribe to my email list, just give me your email that you subscribed with and you will be awarded 30 points. Pretty easy way to earn some quick and easy points, so sign up now. 30 points
- Stumble / Digg this post and you will be rewarded 15 points. This is another easy way to gain some quick and easy points. 15 points
- Add me on Twitter. 5 points
- Post a comment on this blog, no spam please. 5 points
So there are the ways that you can gain some points. Honestly, if you at least sign up to my RSS feed and only do a few of the above ways, you are more then likely to at least win something. Nobody is allowed to win more then one thing.

Sounds like a great contest! I just noticed the Top Commentators at the bottom, that should be another incentive for you to post comments here and increase your entries in this contest.
Just a question IronBlogger - How will the prizes be drawn? (e.g. what is first prize, second prize, third prize etc…? - will it be in order of value?)
@Simon I think he said its completely random, which theoretically means all prizes are valued the same..

Getting RSS Subscribers is one of the trickiest things to do, but if you keep working hard you will slowly build up a steady reader base.
